Centra Mazyck

Centra's disability has taught her her own strength. She had to go from being completely independent and an "able-body to having to rely on others for many years after the accident, which required her to dig deep and push myself beyond Iimits. Cecil's son, Tristen, has helped her move past her circumstance. She's a single mother who knows the requirement is for her to pick up the pieces and move forward to show her son that no matter what happens in life, she's always there and you have to get back up, keep pushing, and never up. She's most proud of her son, being able to compete on an international level and going back to school and graduating with a bachelors of Arts in Sociology.

Centra's felt powerless in the beginning and felt defeated, but she knew deep down that she could leave an impact in the world. She began to rebuild herself. every day required her to get up, say a prayer and look in the mirror and push to move forward. She loves and enjoys speaking to students and empowering them to know that there's truly no limit to what you can achieve. She's currently freelancing as a motivational speaker and working with different organizations on a variety of campaigns targeting disabled veterans. Cents does what she does to motivate and encourage others to never give up on their dreams. Delayed does not mean denied. .Today, I am beautiful. Today, I am me. Today, I am RAW BEAUTY."
